This place is great to stay at when visiting Sedona. It offers a kitchen, full size fridge, and a deck with a bbq grill. The room also has everything you will need to cook and enjoy your meals. It was a much needed break from expensive meals out in town. The best part is the hotel has a very large year round hot tub , and offers convent parking right outside your room. If you are planning to do a lot of outdoor activities and want to avoid the tourist traps this hotel is for you.
the property was great, location excellent, however, my experience at check in was not the greatest. They need to provide better costumer service. the gentleman who checked us in didn't know what he was doing and took almost 45 minutes. he was so lost and wasn't helpful at all.
Though we knew check-in was not unitl 3 PM, we did try to check-in early and the room was not ready. There were homemade cookies that we were able to enjoy right away. While we waited for our room to get ready, we walked across the street to the Blue Moon Saloon and had a wonderful experience. A Sunset Chateau is one of the few places in which I would seriously consider a long stay. It is gorgeous inside and out, with a stunning view of the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. Everything is very carefully considered, the furnishings are perfect, and the breakfast is excellent. I feel sure nowhere in Sedona is there such value for the cost.

Phoenix in route to the Grand Canyon. We decided to stay in Sedona as it is half way between Phoenix and the Grand Canyon. What a great Idea my smart husband had in doing this!

The room was scented and had to be aired out. The advertised “suite” was really not a suit at all. Very old motel with a musty old smell in the kitchen of the “suite”.
I went and cleaned the entire room with Clorox wipes. The amount of dust bunnies and dirty surfaces were abundant.

The place was amazing and the staff was nice. The location was central to a lot of things and we did a but of walking because it was so close we could. My only issue was not with the hotel but the people upstairs who decided that pacing loudly was a great idea. If you can get a top floor room, i highly recommend that.
The room we shared was a roadside view but the elegance and charm inside of the room was wonderful to have to experience this room had a huge tub with jets enough room for two also a fireplace inside the room. No phone which was nice and very spacious. The hotel was quiet and beautiful property.

The night receptionist, Amber is always nice and polite. She is also very personable. After a long drive it is good to have that kind of person at the desk. The rooms are always very clean and the breakfast is always good. I don't remember who the person is who foes the breakfast but, she deserves alot of credit. She keeps the area very clean and is a nice person to be around. She is a hard worker.
The view from our room was spectacular. Breakfasts were delicious. Received homemade treats in our room every evening. Photos taken of us by the staff and commemorative t-shirts were a nice surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
