Learn more about Anacortes
Ferries chug away from this Fidalgo Island outpost, carrying visitors toward San Juan adventures while others stay to explore closer treasures. Washington Park rewards hikers with dramatic island-dotted seascapes and dense forests. Cap Sante Park offers sunset views that explain why locals tolerate winter rain. Whale watching captains discuss orca pods with neighborly familiarity, while downtown's historic buildings house galleries and seafood spots serving just-caught Dungeness crab. Mount Erie's summit reveals islands scattered across Puget Sound like emeralds on blue velvet. Don't miss the Anacortes Museum for tales of maritime history in this gateway city that keeps its own considerable charms.

"Great Staff"
Anacortes Ship Harbor Inn
"Convenient location to Ferry station, quiet, very nice view. Staff was nice, the room was clean, however it smells musty."
The Marina Inn
"This was a great place to stay prior to a weekend at San juan island. Great location, nice property, friendly staff. Great location to walk to nearby restaurants."
Anacortes Inn
"Great place, perfect location for me will definitely come back."
The Orca Inn
"It was nice to be able to sleep undisturbed."
Bellis Inn
"It’s an old hotel but well maintained and clean. The location and surroundings of the building is very homey, relaxing because of the big trees. Definitely we’ll come again here."
Sunrise Inn Villas and Suites
"Functional and comfortable. Large suite could be useful for longer stays."
Inn to the Woods B&B
"It was such a cute place. My husband and I enjoyed our stay there. It is tucked in the woods as the name suggests. The breakfast was very good. We had gluten free lemon blueberry pancakes and they were delicious."
Anaco Bay Inn
"The hotel had plenty of parking and the room was a great size. As a twin downstairs it also has a small kitchenette with fridge, sink and hob along with a dining table which was very useful. The breakfast was a little sparse but it was completely which was a nice touch. There is a pizza restaurant next door which was useful. All in all a great place on the edge of the town"
