Learn more about Stonington
Cobblestone streets wind between sea captains' homes in this coastal haven where maritime history feels delightfully unvarnished. Duck into quaint shops housed in buildings that have weathered centuries of nor'easters. The harbor buzzes with working fishing boats that supply the town's seafood restaurants with their daily catch. Take a picnic to Dubois Beach where locals gather at sunset. Wine enthusiasts can sample vintages at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, housed in a renovated airplane hangar. Just outside town, Mystic Seaport Museum brings New England's seafaring past to life through meticulously preserved vessels and craftspeople demonstrating traditional skills. For evening entertainment, the bright lights of Foxwoods Resort Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino beckon from nearby.

Two Trees Inn
"Great place to stay!"
Winnapaug Inn
"Tv didn’t get NESN. No Red Sox. Bummer"
Great Wolf Lodge Mashantucket
"The property is nice and the amenities are nice and well maintained. The kids really enjoyed the treetop course and the magic quest activity. It was crowded and loud, which you can sort of expect with this type of place. We tried to plan around peak crowd times and that made it more enjoyable. Plan to spend some money … the water park is included but everything else is expensive. The rooms are spacious and very nice. They overbilled us, so be sure to check your credit card statement after checkout. They did correct it but it was a process. The property is right across from a large casino with lots of restaurants. We did not eat on property but there were a few options that looked decent."
Spark by Hilton Mystic Groton
"There was a nice breakfast available and the location was quick to the aquarium and mystic village. The gym was being renovated so I didn’t use that. There was ample parking. The rooms were fine, nothing fancy, and there was a musty smell. But, overall decent place for a quick stay."
Best Western Mystic Hotel
"Everything was above acceptable."
Hilton Mystic
"Very near to aquarium and Olde Village. Nice sleek hotel and great service"
Pleasant View Inn
"5/5 – Loved this place! Right on the beach with an amazing view of the ocean - you can’t beat the location. Everything was walkable, great restaurants, shops, and breakfast spots. The onsite restaurant and bar were awesome too, perfect for grabbing a drink and looking out over the water. We walked the ocean every night. Huge shoutout to Krista and Allegra at the front desk who were so friendly and helpful the whole time, plus everyone else on staff who made this trip such a great one. This is our second time staying here (first time with kids) and we will absolutely stay here again!"
Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa
"The Hotel was comfortable and well located. However shocked on all the fees they tag on the price. Comes out to be much higher than what one thought was the price per night."
The Fox Tower at Foxwoods
"Girls night out. Everything good and clean. Had to call front desk at midnight over noise but they did address it. Staff always helpful."
