This place is fantastic. The couple who run it are welcoming and so helpful. It’s a great location for exploring the Opal Coast. Bus and train are walking distance. The decor is lovely French blue and all is new and in great condition.
The town of Equihen plage is pretty idyllic. These vacation homes are part of a recent development in the area. There are lots of these homes in duplex style. The construction of the homes is a bit cheap feeling (mobile home-ish for the interior), but that was not a negative really, as the views and quaintness of the setting more than amply compensate for it. Quick little offseason trip to Le Touquet and this place had a great deal. This room had obviously been recently been updated and it was quite comfortable.
The neighborhood was nice also, close to everything but not so that it was busy and loud.
A very pleasant surprise of a hotel!
Arrived around 5pm but hotel is closed till restaurant opens at 6pm. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile and a hand with our bags. The rooms are clean and basic. Our room was right at the front and with the windows opened the sound of the traffic was loud.
We arrived with a dog weighing over 100kgs and nobody gave us a wrong look.
Warm welcome, comfortable room and a location to die for.
Good evening meal and pleasant surroundings. I want to return.
