Excellent place, breakfast, happy hour were superb.

San Anselmo is a wonderful place to visit with beautiful surroundings, shops and restaurants. It’s hard to believe huge cities are just over the small mountain. The Inn is the only place to stay right in town. The included breakfast was wonderful with fresh sweet strawberries every morning, and pastries. Check in was a breeze. For the price and fact that it's a motel, the friendliness and service was great. Breakfast is included and there were lots of good quality options to choose from. My only complaint is there wasn't a blanket in the room in addition to the sheet and bed cover.

Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out. Castle Inn was safe, clean and economical. Our only complaint was a wet towel was left on the back of the bathroom door. Other than that the room was very clean, it was safe and had free parking.

Hotel was fully remodeled with all new appliances & furniture including paint. Was nice to see the hotel in a clean new way for upcoming visitors. Elevator was not working at the time which was a slight inconvenience but the fact they provided free parking in such a busy city was a big plus. Would go back again.

Great area! Convenient on foot, public transportation or if you opt for the Big Bus. The lounge, starlite, upstairs is swanky, but if you are alone expect the bar, they will not allow you to utilize a sofa for sunset. Very nice hotel right next to the Amtrak station. We took the train so location was perfect. However, you will hear trains running day and night. Very clean room, comfortable bed, great shower. Fridge and microwave. Great breakfast buffet. Walk to wonderful food court place with many options.
