"We had a good stay at Lion in the sun. People there are super friendly and really doing their best for you to have a good stay. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and so are the chairs. "First of all it is clear that this hotel is far from 5 stars. While the rooms (in fact cottages) are not bad (4/5 for me) and the hotel staff is very friendly (5/5 for me) the breakfast choice was dissatisfying (3/5 for me). The offer of fruit juices was limited to 2, while one always was watermelon and the other changed between mango and pineapple. The overall selection (fresh eggs, other English breakfast items) was o.k., but the offered variety was far from other 5 Star hotels I ever visited....

"Really loved our stay at this special cozy little resort. THE STAFF WERE ALL AMAZING!! Our room had a comfy bed (great shower) and a couch and chair on patio. Super clean. The pool was so nice in the afternoons and the bar area is great with cozy couches and a TV and books. In less then 5 minutes u are at the beach and I always looked forward to a nice greeting by Moses the security guard and Daniel our friendly waiter/bartender. Don’t hesitate to stay here! Plus they have decent Chardonnay!"

"The facilities are amazing - the pools are immaculate and gorgeous scenery in general. Staff are great. The only downside was the very limited menu (and quite high prices for the portion/quality) at Lion in the Sun. On top of that, all vegetarian options were not available one day, with no alternative offered - which was a little disappointing, especially as nearby places (Art and Nature - highly recommend!) were able to modify dishes and cater for dietary requirements on request."
