Learn more about Squamish
Between the granite monolith of Stawamus Chief and the pristine waters of Howe Sound, adventure awaits at every turn. Harness up for world-class rock climbing or paddle through fjords where bald eagles soar overhead and seals pop up to say hello. Mountain bikers tackle legendary trails while hikers explore Alice Lake Provincial Park's forested paths. The West Coast Railway Heritage Park offers a fascinating glimpse into transportation history. After conquering the outdoors, sample craft brews in the downtown area where locals debate which trail deserves tackling next. Visit in summer for perfect conditions, though the misty mountains in spring have their own mysterious appeal.

Sandman Hotel & Suites Squamish
"We had a great one night stay on our trip from Whistler back to Vancouver. There is a ton to do in the area, but my son’s favorite part was the waterslide! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, even storing our luggage on both arrival and departure day and suggesting parks that we would enjoy visiting."

"This property was perfect for our family. Lots of space for a family of 5. The pool area and hot tub were used multiple times and the highlight of the trip."

Forest Cabin
"Lou’s cabin was perfect for our family. It’s a rustic cabin with modern amenities. The back yard was very inviting and we were able to use the grill and play bocce ball. It was in town right next to an urban trail system, but still felt private. A bear walked right through the front yard one evening!"
