Our breakfast server/chef was so friendly. She wanted to hear our story. She has a great story that she shared after hearing ours. It was rainy and we visited with her for a hour. Great view! Rooms are nice. Unlimited filtered water.

We loved staying in the tents, the friendly service we received was fantastic but the highlight for us was the game drive. Bianca was amazing and we got to see Buffalo and Giraffe very close up....and I mean close up. Of course there were Zebra, Springbok, European Fallow Deer, Kudu just to name a few.

Great staff, location, breakfast was spot on. Loved the pool, proximity to the beach. Property was quiet after 10. Loved off street parking accessibility

Lovely getaway with comfortable beds in a quiet setting a short walk to the shops, restaurants and beach.

This must’ve been my 7th time staying here. I love the place! So charming and quaint. Wonderful staff and property.

Our stay was perfect…..the self-catering unit was clean and had all the basics to enjoy a weekend away. I will 100% stay at this property again.

Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride! The balcony even had views of the lagoon. There’s a serene koi pond in the back, and pool as well. Most of all, I felt safe as a solo female. May God bless this...

Lovely location with stunning scenery. Great location to base yourself to explore the area. Food service was very good.

We had a fabulous one night stay at the manor. The welcome was warm, check-in was quick, the service was professional and warm, the beds were comfy, the environment was peaceful (loved the background ocean sounds) and the breakfast was hearty. Very highly recommended!

Breakfast overlooking the beach was wonderful.

We loved this place! The ocean view from our room was spectacular. We checked out a few other places in town that are more expensive and the view from the Linhof is the best! Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word. We will definitely return.

We loved the hotel and its location. Our rm #7 was great with its nice bathroom and terrific deck with lounge chairs. We had an outstanding meal at their restaurant, Blue, and a terrific snack of sushi and oysters at The Oyster Lounge. Highly recommend Tje Abalone!
