Taft
Taft offers front-row seats to Pacific drama where foaming waves meet the shores of Siletz Bay. Beach access points dot the coastline, perfect for long walks collecting driftwood or spotting wildlife in the nearby refuge. Kayak through calm bay waters or brave the ocean waves—nature puts on quite a show here in Lincoln City's laid-back corner. Budget-friendly seafood spots and casual cafes line the streets, making this coastal gem easier on the wallet than fancier beach towns. Most visitors stay in oceanfront vacation rentals or modest motels with killer views. A car is your best bet for getting around, though the beach itself offers miles of walkable sandy highway.

Nelscott
Nelscott serves up a front-row seat to the Pacific's moody drama with miles of rugged shoreline perfect for beachcombing. World-class surfing conditions at Nelscott Reef draw wave-chasers while families explore fascinating tide pools nestled between dramatic rock formations. Theatre West and Jennifer Sears Glass Art Studio offer creative breaks from the salty air, with driftwood sculptures dotting the coastal landscape. The neighborhood's seafood restaurants dish out fresh Dungeness crab and clam chowder with ocean views worth writing home about. Beach houses and oceanfront condos make up most lodging options, all within walking distance of the sand. A rental car is your best bet for exploring this coastal gem since public transit options are limited.

Roads End
Roads End delivers that perfect Oregon coast fantasy with sprawling beaches and dramatic rocky outcrops just waiting to be explored. Wander along the expansive shoreline searching for hidden tide pools or collect agates while waves crash against the shore. The peaceful residential streets offer a welcome break from Lincoln City's more touristy areas. Vacation homes and condos with ocean views dominate the accommodation scene, many featuring full kitchens and private decks. While dining options are limited within the neighborhood, central Lincoln City is just a short drive away. Most visitors rely on personal vehicles, though summer brings seasonal trolley service for beach-hopping adventures.

Oceanlake
Oceanlake serves up classic coastal vibes with the Pacific Ocean as your front yard. Devil's Lake offers calm waters for paddling, while the beachfront promenade beckons for sunset strolls. When you're not building sandcastles, the Lincoln City Skate Park keeps kids entertained, and the Chinook Winds Casino adds grown-up fun to the mix. Budget-friendly motels and vacation rentals line the shore, making this an accessible beach getaway without breaking the bank. Seafood restaurants dish up fresh catches and clam chowder that'll make your taste buds dance. Most attractions sit within walking distance, but you'll want wheels to explore Lincoln City's full coastline.

Learn more about Lincoln City
Treasure hunters comb the beaches for colorful glass floats hidden by 'float fairies' throughout the year - a quirky tradition that perfectly captures this coastal town's charm. The self-proclaimed 'Kite Capital of the World' hosts two annual festivals where the sky becomes a canvas of fluttering fabric. Between sessions at Chinook Winds Casino, explore the tide pools at Roads End State Recreation Site or watch glassblowers craft delicate art at Jennifer Sears Glass Art Studio. Devils Lake offers a freshwater alternative to ocean activities, while Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge provides quieter moments among coastal wetlands. For dinner, seafood restaurants serve catches so fresh they practically introduce themselves by name.

Anchor Inn Resort
"Such a cool vibe. With the firepits and s'mores, it was fun. The bed was very comfortable too."
Surftides Lincoln City
"This was a lovely hotel directly on the beach. We were on the fifth (top) floor of the hotel with a king room with a fireplace. It was wonderfully quiet. We left the sliding door open all night with the screen door shut so we could listen to the ocean. The view from our balcony was lovely, and the hotel room was spacious and spotless. We appreciated having a mini fridge and microwave along with a coffee maker. The bed was truly a king and very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. Access to the beach was easy and the poo was great (make sure to ask for pool towels at the front desk). The staff were all friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend coming here for a lovely retreat and some great beach/ocean time."
The Coho Oceanfront Lodge

Siletz Bay Beachfront Hotel by OYO Lincoln City

Surfland Hotel
"It was a beautiful room! It could have been more clean in my opinion. The bed sheets smelled like they had been in the closet for a few months before use. There was dirt around the windows and the remote only worked next to the tv. The room was scorching hot at midnight and so finally I asked for some help and was informed the only option was a box fan. It did help but I had to open up my room for a little to get the fresh air flowing. I had previously paid for a late 1 pm check out. And the day of check out at 11 am I get a phone call asking if I needed any help with checking out. I said, Uh no I paid extra on top of the already high enough expense to check out Later and then they had to double check, confirmed and apologized. I reserved the room for one person and they set it up for a couple. But it’s ok. Otherwise it was beautiful"
Inn at Wecoma
"The room was very clean and visually appealing. We stayed on the 3rd floor and we could see the ocean from the room/balcony which was very nice. The staff was also very helpful and kind. The amenities were also great and my partner and I loved the adult hours for the pool, very relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here!"
