You might want to play some rounds at Colonial Golf Course, located 1.1 mi (1.7 km) from central Hart. If Colonial Golf Course doesn't quite scratch your golfing itch, Golden Sands Golf Course, and Oceana Golf Club are also nearby.
Wyckoff Lake is 3.1 mi (5.1 km) from central Hart, why not stop by during your stay. Hart has other popular natural features you might want to visit such as Lake Michigan.
Beneath the radar of most travelers, this small Michigan town offers a perfect blend of nostalgia and outdoor adventure. Wander the downtown where the historic Hart Theater and family-owned shops maintain their mid-century charm. The Hart-Montague Trail begins here, offering miles of scenic cycling through countryside that seems frozen in time. Summer demands a trip to Silver Lake State Park, where massive dunes meet freshwater beaches in a landscape that feels improbably midwestern. Pentwater Lake provides quieter water recreation, while the surrounding Huron-Manistee National Forest delivers hiking trails where you might not see another soul all day. This is small-town America that hasn't been polished for tourists—and that's precisely its appeal.
"First of all the front desk clerks. Each person running the desk was friendly. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. The room was nice and cozy. The cable tv was good for all sorts of channels it had. One improvement was i wish it brought up only 1 guide when hitting guide. They could have given more info about programs on the channel."
"This building is definitely old and has some wear but that only adds to the character and charm. Even though the room was small, it had everything we needed and some extra special touches, like a chocolate left bedside and tissues on both sides of the bed. It was cozy and homey.
The snack area was well stocked and had an amazing variety to choose from for a late-night bite. But the best part about the experience was breakfast served in the dining room by Julia. Each breakfast came on its own tray and so was not only delicious and plentiful but beautifully presented.
I will choose this Inn again next time we are in town. "
"Secured entry…clean hotel lobby and rooms…nice breakfast… staff will come by and see if you need anything… plus the lobby is nicely decorated with comfortable seating…"
