Learn more about Baker City
Wander through gold rush-era buildings where history feels less like a museum and more like someone just stepped away for lunch. The Oregon Trail Interpretive Center lets you play pioneer without the dysentery, while downtown's Victorian storefronts house art galleries that wouldn't be out of place in Portland. At Barley Brown's, locals debate which craft beer pairs best with tales of the city's wilder days. The Baker Heritage Museum displays everything from stagecoaches to fossilized mammoth teeth with delightful randomness. Escape to the Wallowa Mountains where hiking trails offer views that make smartphone cameras seem woefully inadequate. This might be the only place where you can pan for gold in the morning and attend an art opening by evening.

Bridge Street Inn
"This was an amazing stay. Reminiscent of a classic hotel with modern amenities. Was very quiet with a very comfortable bed. We had to do late check in due to a flat tire enroute, but called ahead and the process was seamless. The breakfast the next morning was amazing. Lots of quality options and the lady in charge was very friendly. A great overall experience. Will stay here again if we are in the area and would recommend to any for the same."
Geiser Grand Hotel
"Wonderful building and furnishings with character. Like being on a movie set. Excellent food in bar. Great bar staff. Both of our beds were very old and saggy. Electric plugs next to bed did not work. No sugar for coffee in the morning. No attempt by staff to help with bags. Was a lovely hotel atmosphere, however the level of hospitality was not fabulous."
Super 8 by Wyndham Baker City
"Very convenient from the interstate and close to everything else as well. The people were friendly and helpful. The room we had was rundown. The shower drain a little slow. The air conditioner was not working properly as in loud and rattling. The security door stop was broken off. Breakfast was good and so was the coffee."
Rodeway Inn Baker City
"It was great for a night stay to rest while traveling . Great options for food and coffee close by as well."
Baker City Motel & RV Park
"The shower was way too small for my liking, but the bed was very comfortable ...and that was what I was wanting most during my stay. Bottom line: Yes, I would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"It’s a great little place, simple, clean, and if you need a fan, remember to look under the table cause there’s no air-conditioning. We enjoyed the evening. It was fun.."
