I really hate to say how wonderful this place is because I am afraid I may not be able to get reservations next time I call. This is a hidden gem in the mountains. The staff made us feel like we were the only guests they had and the rooms were the most comfortable and clean that we have stayed in, even at twice the price. We travel throughout the North Carolina and Virginia mountains a lot and this is now #1 on our list of places to stay.

Room was very clean and spacious. Big, very fluffy towels. Online check in was convenient. Hotel looks to be partially renovated. My room was very nice and clean. Looked like it had recently been redone. Could tell that some parts of the hotel hadn't been updated yet and were not in use. Grass needed cutting, but the area was safe, lots of restaurants around. Beautiful area. I would definitely go there again.

This hotel is a 60's time capsule, which is something I wish there were more of. It is outdated (in a good way) and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.
