The entire hotel has been remodeled. Everything thing is clean and fresh. Very relaxing stay.

Everything was fine except the parking situation. Valet is not preferable and street parking becomes a problem.

My husband and daughter and I arrived VERY late--2 am--and Jerrell the night clerk got us checked in quickly and courteously while at the same time fielding a phone call from someone who was obviously giving him a hard time--yet he remained calm, pleasant, and professional. Great staff and quiet room

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation, however, it was extremely clean. The staff were amazing. Very professional and personal on board. The breakfast buffet was better than average. I would recommend this hotel regardless of the fact it’s old.

The Grand Lake Hotel didn’t look appealing from the outside, but our room was so cozy! We could see the lawn from our window. The bed, mattress, and AC unit were new. I actually pulled back the sheets and the mattress was clean. The bathroom was outdated, but had a new toilet and clean tiles. The water pressure was amazing! Everything was very good I only have one complaint. Large groups were slowed to take extra food with them at breakfast. They were given brown bags to put food in. When we got up to get our breakfast there were not much left to choose from. So if you gonna let ppl take extra make sure you can cover it so there’s food left for others.

I got in at 9:00 tonight, and check-in was a breeze! My room is way beyond awesome, I've not done any more than unpack, but I'm very impressed. I was born in Wallingford, so the reason I'm here is to rent a house and stay in the area, but I highly recommend this place to people visiting the Wallingford/Meriden area.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. The only complaint I have is that the juice was watered down at breakfast.
