The facility was very interesting, the rooms were quite comfortable but the bed and the linens were to die for. I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed outside of my own. I don’t know how they launder the linens but they softness and fresh clean scent of the sheets, pillowcases and even the bath towels was amazing.
This was a great hotel to stay in for Disneyland. We have stayed in a Disney hotel and this hotel beat out those hotels in every way except closeness to park. Cambria is just .9 miles away. Do not rent a car unless you plan on going other places in California. The Disneyland parking lot is just a block away and then you have to take a shuttle to the park just like at the hotel. 50% of retail is closed including independent restaurants. I remember it in its hay day. Its still a unique property but I dont see a way yo get full occupancy for retail. Still clean and a nice inexpensive place to stay downtown.
I love coming to stay at this hotel! The service is phenomenal, the room is large and comfortable, and the location is terrific. I left to early for the breakfast, but it’s been great in the past. This is a comfortable, cozy hotel. I only wish Frank’s coffee shop was still open! I would have to come a lot more often!
