Learn more about Leadville
At two miles above sea level, North America's highest incorporated city offers Victorian architecture that whispers tales of silver boom days. The National Mining Hall of Fame reveals how fortunes were made and lost in these mountains. Hike the Mineral Belt Trail for spectacular alpine views without the altitude adjustment. The historic Tabor Opera House stands as testament to when silver barons built cultural palaces in this unlikely location. Twin Lakes provides postcard-worthy reflections of Colorado's tallest peaks, while the Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad chugs through scenery that defies proper description. In winter, nearby ski areas attract powder-seekers; in summer, the Continental Divide Trail brings through-hikers pausing for supplies and stories.

Hyatt Vacation Club at The Ranahan
"Excellent in every way. Staff, room, property and location."
Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center
"The location is great and having the pool and hot tubs is such a nice amenity to have. The place needs a serious update but for the price, location and amenities, it’s our go to spot to stay when I. Breckenridge."
Keystone Lodge & Spa, A Vail Resorts Property
"We stayed for one night to celebrate my birthday. The staff at the front desk wasn’t the most friendly. The property was beautiful. There was a lake to walk around, hammocks to lounge in, little shops, and a few cafes. The spa, hot tubs and pool area were very nice and relaxing. We got breakfast at the property cafe and ate outside in front of the lake which was beautiful! The room was large, quiet and had a huge floor to ceiling window with an amazing view of the pool and mountains, a mini fridge, table and 2 chairs, large tv, robes, coffees, water, comfortable bed, lots of pillows, plenty of toiletries, and everything you need. The only issue we had was that the room did not have air conditioning and it was hot all night in our room. The property really should consider investing in cooling units because this affected our sleep considerably as well as our overall experience unfortunately. Other than that, we had a great time and will definitely return!"
Evergreen Lodge at Vail
"didn't really have time to use outdoor pool or weight room. Had to get back on the road. Great value."
Grand Timber Lodge
"This is our favorite place to stay in Breck. Close enough to town that we can walk, but they also have on demand shuttle service. The pools and hot tubs are super nice, the grounds are impeccable, and the staff are professional and helpful."
Grand Hyatt Vail Resort and Spa
"The Grand Hyatt in Vail is new, clean and luxurious. Everything is high quality with now wear and tear. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the bathrooms are gorgeous. My favorite amenity was the salt water hot tub. It was huge, with pool side towels, fairy lights and it looks out over the river."
Hotel Indigo Silverthorne by IHG
"The staff were very kind & welcoming. Everything was clean and comfy! We loved the outdoor patio!"
Tivoli Lodge
"Great place"
Tiny House Leadville
"Nice tiny house. Had everything we needed. Great communication. Helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. Great location. The main street is literally up the block and everything is walkable including restaurants, the opera house, stores etc. Lots to explore nearby also. Will definitely come back again. Dedicated parking right outside the house. Perfect and easy to organize if you want to head up to Leadville and even just stay a night or two rather then driving back home. Perfect for a quick getaway."
