The view from the deck was amazing. It overlooked a lake and Mount Monadanock. Our room was spacious and clean. The hosts were lovely people. They had a refrigerator stocked with wine and beer and they put out cookies in the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious and on the morning we had to leave before breakfast, they packed some bread and fruit for us.
For the wedding we stayed at our very first B&B. Howarth House Bed and Breakfast in Fitchburg, Mass. It is a beautiful house built in 1910. The current owners, Sarah and Ryan purchased the house in 2020. The owners were friendly, kind, accommodating and Ryan can sure cook a great breakfast. This Inn is super cute. Stayed in a large comfortable room. Host and hostess are very friendly. Breakfast delicious. Only warning is bathroom is not en-suite. But recommend as a great deal overall.

The rooms provided the perfect blend of historic atmosphere and modern convenience, and Matthew gave us a real feeling of the history of the place with his vast knowledge of the inn and its famous visitors. The location was good and walkable to the downtown restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful with advising on area hikes. The only negative was the outside of the property could have more attention to detail. Will definitely go back next time in Peterborough NH.
