We stayed for a few nights and really enjoyed the waterfront view cottage! Highly recommend the waterfront vs. the waterview cottages, especially if you like to sit on porches :) We were able to enjoy the lakeview and hear the water 24/7 if we so desired! We swam in the lake (bring water shoes), enjoyed the beautiful sauna, and chilled in the hot tub! Staff was kind and helpful, and the amenities really feel like a cute, beachfront-bar vibe. Staff was polite and helpful. Too many chemicals in pool burned my son's eyes. Will bring goggles next time. He didn't even open his eyes under water. But I understand the use of chemicals to keep it clean. Only negative thing was another young couple came down in the evening to use the pool and were very inappropriate in the pool area in front of my children. Not hotels fault. But we left earlier than we would have so they didn't have to see them doing what they were doing.
