Amazing place, amazing people. Saw deer, cats and dogs. Def my spot when I’m spending time in Modoc County. Close to the 4 corners market that has an incredible fresh fruit selection and a decent beef jerkey selection as well.
The Hotel Niles is a different place. It is old, very rustic and furnished with antiques. Everywhere you look are pictures that remind you of the past century. The room was very clean. The staff was lovely and take pride in their work. The bar seems to be a beehive of activity. We didn't eat there but did appreciate Starbucks next door. We were treated with a pastry and coffee for breakfast as part of the room rate. We came into the hotel with "oh, no" and left with "oh, wow!" The...
