Great hotel and frankly a pleasant surprise given the general area. Clean, nicely appointed and people very friendly. They can’t do anything about the area but they have made facility very secure. Extra points for operating such a nice property despite the area! Thank you are part of the solution not the problem. Absolutely would stay again.

We were sailing today on the carnival Firenze so decided to stay right next-door on the Queen Mary the night before. This ship is amazingly beautiful, such history after 90 years of service. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room spacious, considering the age of the ship and how they used to design them. The staff is very nice, friendly and welcoming. I have stayed at the Alamo for many years now. I love the convenience of walking to Disneyland, parking my car is included with my stay. This hotel is clean and I always feel safe. It's quiet with comfy beds. Great water pressure for showering or bathing. The refrigerator and microwave make bringing my own food convenient. Amazing staff who are super helpful.

The property staff was so nice! The room was fine. It had a refrigerator and microwave which we liked. The best part is the location-walking distance to Disneyland and the shopping center. Bonus was the free parking! We would definitely stay here again! The one negative is they don’t have free breakfast but it wasn’t a big deal for us

Amazing room

Front desk staff are so friendly & helpful! Room was spacious & very clean. Bed a bit firm for my liking. Loved the beauty of the old building & property. Secured parking was a plus. Will definitely stay there again. Bistro Restaurant on the ground floor….rude staff, horrible coffee, ridiculous prices, go somewhere else to eat!

We stayed for a week during our spring break. First time visiting LA. Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast buffet was great and they never ran out of food. The ladies that worked breakfast kept everything stocked until right at 10 am when breakfast was over. The pool is quite small and we didn't use it, although we did sit by the pool most mornings before our outings for some fresh air. Tons of walkable restaurants around the hotel. This was a great hotel to stay in for Disneyland. We have stayed in a Disney hotel and this hotel beat out those hotels in every way except closeness to park. Cambria is just .9 miles away. Do not rent a car unless you plan on going other places in California. The Disneyland parking lot is just a block away and then you have to take a shuttle to the park just like at the hotel. Not to mention parking in the Disneyland parking lot is $30 a day and parking at the hotel is $30 a day. The...
