The Thatcher has such character as a landmark hotel with modern amenities. My family loved our stay. Kevin, the bartender, was a wonderful host. Also, great coffee spot/bakery in the lobby.
Our first stay here, and would definitely stay again. Room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked! Excellent breakfast, with hot eggs and sausage. Staff pleasant and efficient.
Great location for kayaking, swimming and paddle boarding. Very friendly staff, nice and quiet property. Beautiful Lake and good weather. Casino is nearby and the restaurant is good. Love this place, I highly recommended.
Good location. Big thanks to Jade If I needed anything she was always available. My room was comfortable the ocean view was excellent but the bed it was so comfortable. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that has memory foam mattresses.
Beautiful property! The room was beautiful and spacious. The location was great, a few minutes from the town so we got to enjoy that area as well. I really recommend this hotel.
Loved the location, very nice, quiet and modern and spacious rooms. Easy 3 minute walk to the town square with nice boutiques and wonderful restaurants. The continental breakfast should have more selection options for breads. At 8:30am they only had one type of small cinnamon pastry, no toasts or croissants. There was yogurt, cereal and fruit but some fresh baked goods, croissants, breads, bagels and jams would be nice and are served at most places that offer continental breakfast.
A stunning location for nature lovers and fans of mid century modern design. The rooms are immaculate and the attention to detail was appreciated. The property location is stunning and a dream to wake up along the coast. Already planning to come back for a longer stay.
Everything was awesome except for the sauna and stem room which either did not work or work very well. Also, why charge for parking? Not a big fan of that. Other thank that amazing.
Everything was really good except there was somebody else’s hair on the toilet seat and in the shower, which was kind of gross but overall was very nice.
We had a great time in the cabin. It was well stocked, had a nice layout, and was bigger than expected. The bunk bed are creatively placed and reminiscent of a cubby hole. The property is undergoing upgrades to the public restrooms so it will be even better soon.
I booked a room at this hotel for one night. I am a makeup artist and was hired for a wedding nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, access to the highway was convenient, and the room was beautifully renovated. I thought the rate was reasonable and included a continental breakfast! I was very impressed and would consider another stay if I am in the area again.
