Learn more about Navasota
Dubbed the 'Blues Capital of Texas' in honor of native son Mance Lipscomb, this small city offers a surprising blend of music history and small-town charm. Wander the historic downtown where antique shops and cafes occupy buildings that have witnessed generations of Texas life. The Horlock History Center reveals local stories through preserved artifacts. Catch live performances at the Navasota Theatre Alliance, where community spirit takes center stage. Time a visit during the Texas Birthday Bash for music honoring the city's blues legacy. Just outside town, Washington on the Brazos State Historical Park and Fanthorp Inn offer windows into Texas' independent spirit. College Station's big-university energy waits nearby, creating a perfect counterpoint to Navasota's relaxed pace.

"We loved the set up of the cabin itself, there was nothing that they did not think about. The location is very peaceful I’d say just be prepared with food to grill etc the cabin was immaculate and the shower was powerful! Major win on a hot day!!! We had a wonderful time and it was easy to find and locate our cabin. Thank you and we will be back!!!!"

"This is my favorite hotel in College Station. It is clean, quiet and close to lots of food options. The beds are so comfy! And has a wonderful friendly staff!"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham College Station South
"Upon arrival the bldg looked nice, landscaping was not impressive. Upon entering, the lady at the desk issued a nice greeting, but stayed seated for the check in. Lobby decor was colorful but the carpet was filthy with stains and dinginess all over it. Our room was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the Air Conditioning was very nice and cool. Breakfast on the weekend started at 7 am. Scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon both, biscuits and gravy, waffle makers, cereals, OJ, apple juice, coffee etc, etc. It was a graduation day at Texas A&M, so it was crowded with families and kids. Noise level was therefore a bit too loud for my comfort. So, since we knew this was not a 5 star hotel, it was ok with a “reasonable” price In today’s market."
