"Quiet and peaceful"
Graystone Lodge, an Ascend Collection Hotel
"This hotel is in a good location and their staff is very helpful"
Courtyard By Marriott Sugar Mountain Banner Elk
"Excellent stay"
Holiday Inn Boone - University Area by IHG
"I enjoyed my stay; it was very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is well maintained, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The one thing I will say that needed to be corrected was that breakfast was available - included. This is not the case; it is by order and for a price."
Fairfield Inn by Marriott Boone
"A dogwalking area was very convenient. Very close to dining and shopping. Minutes from hiking. Quiet and safe."
Blowing Rock Inn
"The room was nicely remodeled and clean. From Expedia and the hotel I received too many messages, texts, emails and had to download various attachments just for an one night’ stay. After filling out and signing an online check in form, they then want you to download an app on your phone to get you access to the room. If not, you still have go to the other hotel’s check in counter to get the code. Room was fine, just had to turn off the loud air-con and open the windows sometime during the night. Fire pits were nice addition, although one didn’t work. Hotel is located right in the heart of Blowing Rock."
Sleep Inn Hickory South
"This hotel is in a good location, right off of exit 125 of I-40. There are lots of restaurants within a 5-minute drive, a shopping mall, and other stores as well. It is an older hotel in need of updating, but the staff is nice, and they do offer a free hot breakfast. There is a Cracker Barrel, Zaxby's, and Hooters right next to their property."
Chetola Resort
"We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was very nice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant not yet being associated with the hotel was a little annoying. We could not charge to our room nor get room service. The property itself is very pleasant and the walking trail around the lake is nice."
Smoketree Lodge
"Nice, clean, cozy & unpretentious. Room layout and amenities were excellent."
