"The hotel was beautifully decorated for the Holidays. The front desk person, Louise was efficient, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and just an asset to this hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable. The room had water for the guests which is a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and had all the amenities one could need. The only negative comment I have is the pillows on the bed were not comfortable, which would not affect my choice to return here.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious. (I travel each week for my profession) and the food was freshly made, and there was a wide variety of choices: fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and different pastries.
It was such a pleasant stay. We will definitely be back."
"We were told at check in that breakfast was served until 9:30. We entered around 8:40. There was barely a scoop of each hot food. A server brought out 3 sausage sandwiches, quiches and bacon. By 9:00 they were cleaning everything up. When one family entered, a woman told them breakfast was over at 9. She then proceeded to talk nasty about them after they walked out because they should have known breakfast was over. If breakfast is over then, front desk should know so the message can be conveyed accordingly. Other than that distasteful incident, our stay was fabulous!!"
"I have stayed at The Intercontinental several times, durimg my visits to the Cleveland Clinic.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Linens are very soft. The staff, all the way from desk assistance to restaurant staff were always so helpful. Much needed when navigating the clinic. "
