Hualapai Lodge

Hualapai Lodge

8/10 Good
"I had an overall positive stay at this hotel, which was impeccably well kept with brand new facilities, a clean atmosphere, and a staff that was both friendly and helpful. The location was super convenient, especially for anyone heading to the Hualapai Hilltop, starting point of the hike down to Havasupai. When it came to food at the in house restaurant, there was a good variety, and while the plain cheese pizza was one of only two vegetarian options available, it was delicious—though I was grateful I had come prepared with Lactaid, as I'm lactose intolerant. It would be a nice to see at least one or two dairy-free vegetarian choices on the menu. The beds were comfortable, the decor was lovely, and parking was easy and plentiful right outside, with a gas station and convenience store conveniently located just across the street; the Wi-Fi also worked flawlessly throughout my stay. My only real drawback was that the hotel sits right next to a very active railway track, with trains rumbling past every fifteen to thirty minutes and blasting their horns at all hours, and even though the hotel provided earplugs, they unfortunately didn't do much for this light sleeper. That one issue aside, the hotel and the people there were absolutely incredible, and I would still highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"This ranch is ideal for someone who doesn’t mind being off the grid. But the property makes up for it by giving you an authentic stay of being back in the 1800s. Horse back riding or wagon ride available. Then they have a singing cowboy at the campfire while roasting marshmallows for smores. Cabins were very comfortable and we rose just after sunrise. Coffee & breakfast were good to start our day."
