A new hotel is of course going to be extremely clean and have nice furnishings. so hopefully this standard will be kept up over the coming years. The breakfast was not so good, however. Although we arrived to eat at 8:30AM (breakfast is served 6A-9A), the eggs were dry as if sitting for at least 4-5 hours and the potatoes were burnt and also dried up and there was only a scoop of each left. This is a quaint, clean, quiet, cute little hotel that’s right in the middle of the French Quarter. It’s in an old historic building, so don’t expect pristine modern glitz and glamour, but it’s charming, the room is clean, the staff is friendly, and it could not be MORE convenient for getting around the French Quarter. The hotel is one block over from Bourbon St and one block up from where things get going on Bourbon St. We were there off season and Bourbon St was under construction so crowds were not as large as usual. Very clean, quiet, and modern space. It is pet friendly and located so that everything is in walking distance. I thought the breakfast could use more attention to include items such as cereal and granola to go with the yogurt. You can hear the boats on the Mississippi and the train.

Location was excellent! A few places to eat and have a drink inside, great fuse from observatory 11 and from our room; easy walking distance to the French Quarter Bourbon Street and other places. Particular shout out to the guys and the young lady out front that helped us get a cab an Uber or a shuttle. Every day they offered a friendly greeting with a smile and unbounded professionalism. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends that are in that area.
