Was a great place to stay. They had awesome food at their restaurant. Nice friendly managers of the property. Remembered names of people in my party. Had two fire pits which we enjoyed. Within 30 minutes of lots of stuff to do. We would stay there again. They made us feel like family.
We were married at The Alpine Lodge 3 years ago during covid and they were terrific at handling everything for us. We were back celebrating our anniversary and had a terrific room nestled in the corner - jetted tub, gas fireplace and deck. Couldn't have asked for anything better! Going to go back in the spring to enjoy warmer weather.
The Gore Mountain Lodge is a wonderful and unique spot minutes from Gore Mountain ski area and the fun town of North Creek. Rooms are clean, comfortable and creatively decorated. It does not feel like a motor inn. We will go back.
As soon as we walked into this room, the first thing to see was the beautiful view
of Lake George thru the patio doors, and out onto the porch. The view was magnificent!
Then, wanting to get our luggage taken care of, we went about putting toiletries in the bathroon, and clothes in the closet. I am probably phobic when it comes to staying somewhere other than home. I don't want to stay in someone else's dust. I was struck by the cleanliness of the bedroom, the bathroom, the mini kitchen, the...
The Room’s cleanliness was immaculate. The Beds were very comfy. The office clerk was friendly and accommodating. We had a beautiful view of the lake with chairs and table right outside our front door. Our parking spot was right outside our room I absolutely loved our stay Also very quiet and seemed safe. My only suggestion is that hopefully in the future the owners could put either stairs or a ramp to hold on so that older people such as myself can walk down by the water to relax in the lawn...
Brittney was amazing!! She helped make our honeymoon spectacular, and the gift bag from the hotel crew was super thoughtful too. Rooftop is a 10/10 and the lounge area is super cozy. So centrally located, but it still feels like a getaway. Thank you Lake George and the Courtyard crew!
Our family of four stayed there over the Memorial Day weekend. The rooms were priced competitively. The location cannot be beat as most everything is at a walking distance. The lake view rooms have a great view. Our room was clean, had all convenient appliances such as a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer and iron. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Juanita gave us tips about the local attractions. She was also kind enough to get us some extra supplies - even when it was...
We have been going to Lake George for years, the last few bringing our toddlers. Marine Village Resort was the PERFECT location for us to park the car and not have to use it agin until check out. It is walking distance to everything in the village which makes for an easy morning grabbing bagels or a quick walk to lunch of dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants on the lake.
The resort itself is fantastic (especially for young kids)! The swimming area in the lake is safe and perfect for floats...
It was our second time to Lake George and first time staying here. My wife and kids enjoyed it! My wife said she wants to stay in the same room next time. I liked that it was very close to downtown shops and restaurants, but far enough from the crowds. We look forward to visiting again and grabbing the same room!
There was a nice brook behind our cabin. I saw a waterfowl I had never seen before...it was a Merganser Duck or a Goosander.
Also, the room was very clean and friendly looking.
We were blown away by the setting! Back in the woods, with access to a lovely lake...the Fern Lodge offers multiple opportunities for rest, relaxation and recreation, and I am only sorry that we didn't stay there longer. We will be back!
A friend and I stayed 2 nights. The beds were comfy, the rooms are super clean and just the right amount of rustic decor. The rooms have window units that work great. Unlike the chain hotels, ours was cleaned while we were out. I got the pleasure of meeting Noreen, the owner and her husband. They were so nice and accommodating and have great suggestions for things to see and where to eat in the area. They put out coffee every morning at 7. The grounds are lovely, and I would definitely...
