Hotels in Mills River

Solid location. No complaints. The reason I regularly choose Hampton is the consistency of service and facilities. I do hate how hotels no longer provide daily cleaning/refreshing -- it's a lazy by-product of CoVID. We pay daily rates -- we should get daily service.

The property was our last stop on a ten day trip in the South. We stayed at 5 different hotels and this property was the best. Clean and well kept with the friendliest staff.

Stayed there when Hurricane Helene . Whole area, including hotel lost power. They couldn’t put out any coffee or any other hot items, but they put out boxes of cereal & fruit wvery morning and I stayed there for 3 days w no power before escaping to Charlotte. Food of any kind appreciated w all stores & restaurants closed. Staff did their best in a bad situation. The young woman at the front desk was particularly great - she was stuck at hotel too, unable to get home due to flooding.

Other than the noise starting around 3:00 am from the person in the room above ours, the rest of our experience went well.

Over the past 5 years we have had occasion to stay at The Lodge many times and it never disappoints. In a word, the Lodge is comfortable. Everything is easy from the parking to the check in to the nice breakfast. The rooms allow for storing food you might have brought with you in a nice size fridge with a decent freezer area. The beds are firm and very comfortable. If you are lucky you might get checked in by the owner who is a great guy and very accommodating. Again, the operative word is...

Great ending to a long day!

This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. When we left, the property had no damage despite high winds and flooding rainfall. At checkout, the staff could not print a receipt for us but promised to email us one when the electricity...

Room was a little outdated, but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and very convenient location off of the highway.

Had an amazing time at Asheville River Cabins. They literally thought of everything, from fresh ground coffee, extra towels fro the hot tub and even grilling utensils and extra wood for the fire pit. My only recommendation would be to have the cabin numbers more visible. We arrived late at night and was difficult to find our way. Once we found the cabin, we thoroughly enjoyed that all of the lights to our cabin were on inside, it felt very welcoming.

Housekeepping was sloppy. Pillows thrown on beds corners not neat,sheets mussed. Dust on lamps. Micro had time left on it. Light not working in fridge.

This was a quite nice hotel, especially for the price. I enjoyed my stay here very much, but there was not very much parking considering the size of the hotel. It's located in kind of a weird spot near the back of the hotel lots, but did have a nice view of the highway leading into the mountains - plus a toyota dealership.
