This place was perfect for a family. Clean rooms. A Walmart and Aldis directly across the street. Texas Roadhouse right next store in the same parking lot. I felt very comfortable having a drink at the restaurant next store while my teens enjoyed the pool. The front desk staff were so helpful!

Stayed at the Carriage House for one night and was initially surprised by the outward appearance. Goes to show you that looks can be deceiving. The rooms were SO clean and very nicely designed. The owners went out of their way to make my stay comfortable (i.e. drove to get me a toothbrush when I had forgotten mine because the overnight kits were not in yet) and the rooms were beyond reasonable. This is the second time I have stayed at the Graduate New Haven; it did not disappoint. The bed and sheets are very comfortable. Room design is visually pleasing and logical.
