This is a beautiful property, it is like staying in a historical mansion. We stayed in a king suite and the room was huge and very nice. Continental breakfast was simple and sufficient, great experience overall. We had an emergency situation at home (12 hrs away) and the manager was extremely helpful in working with us so that we could leave a day early. Would definitely recommend this hotel…close to Skeaneatles and the lake.

Friendly staff and great places to eat inside

If you are looking for a nice place to stay near Syracuse, this is place is a very good choice! The house is beautiful and sweet like home, and the breakfast is pretty delicious. There are some good restaurants nearby too, so don't need to worry about where to have dinners. The only thing is that they really need to fix the front door of the room I stay (first floor). I couldn't open it from inside at first, then I couldn't lock it from outside. Something must be wrong with the electric...

Very clean and it appears that everything has been recently updated

This family owned and operated hotel was very clean, friendly and dog-friendly! Anthony, the owner, and his mom and aunt, some of the housekeepers, were very welcoming to us (my husband and I) and our German Shepherd. Our suite was very roomy and spotless, and the whole hotel had modern yet old school vibes with hardwood floors and black and white tiled bathrooms. Rooms were stocked with a Keurig and all the necessities including real creamer, a mini fridge, a microwave and bathroom toiletries....

The hotel is updated, modern very clean. Our room was specious, but lacked a few comforts that most hotels offer such as a coffee maker and comfortable chairs to use while relaxing in the room. The room was more than big enough to add a couch or comfortable chair. All they have is a metal uncomfortable office style seat. No coffee in the room or microwave which for me brings my rating down. I do not want to have to get dressed and make my way to the lobby for my first cup of coffee! Staff...

The hotel staff at this hotel is outstanding! We've stayed at other Staybridge Suites and the staff has always been great. It was a pleasure to witness first-hand the polite young man that was working the breakfast buffet. He was extremely attentive to the food supply, cleanliness of the eating area, and answered any questions that were asked by myself, and others throughout the morning. When I need an inexpensive place to stay for the night near the Syracuse Airport I always stay at the Red Carpet. An older place but good staff. They spread the residents out so there is no noise. The rooms are updated and very clean.

Hotel was incredible, new, great staff and fun to sit poolside and fireside. The food at the restaurant was ok, not amazing, but maybe taste preferences. Spa was very nice, new and great services.

Decent room, staff. Problem is parking... there's alot of cars there compared to rooms, leaving no parking spaces.

Very unique Adirondack type lodge!! It was just what I was looking for!!! I didn't like that last 2 nights of my 4 night stay I had to listen to a dog barking in the room next to me.
