"Our cottage felt fresh and clean. Very comfortable and spacious. Relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful lake view! Resort located next to the trail. It's in a walking distance from downtown Nisswa."

"Room was not completely clean when we arrived: dusty in areas and pieces of plastic bag on the floor between the beds. It was reasonably comfortable though and a okay place to stay for the night. The hot tub wasn’t working—it was completely drained and looked like it had been broken awhile. That’s the reason we’d stay there in the first place, so very disappointing. The exterior door closest to our room worked for exiting, but did not let us in. (The key card worked but the locking mechanism appeared to be broken, staying locked when the light turned green). It appears that breakfast was included—we didn’t see the breakfast room until we checked out. The staff didn’t mention it to us at check in. The ice machine didn’t work. Staff was friendly; the property is just a little run down."

"We had a room with a kitchen, it was clean and very nice. It met our needs perfectly for the time we were there. The staff was helpful. You could see that they had recently done a remodel. It looked very nice and fresh. They did not have breakfast ability yet, but we new that going in as it was stated online. We did not use the pool or hot tub, but saw other people in there. If you had stayed there in the past you really need to give it another chance under the new management. If you have long hair or use conditioner you should bring your own as theirs is like water. Also bring your own hangers if you need to hang anything as there were none in our room nor a place to hang other than the bathroom."
