Our stay at the Hampton Inn in Rawlins, Wyoming was one of the best hotel/motel experiences we've had. The friendly staff, the clean, spacious room, and the amenities were better than we expected. And the breakfast was definitely better than most!
This is a lovely, and charming old motel lodge. It has a western theme; it is cared for by a very friendly staff, from the owner, down to the housekeeping staff. I spent over 30 minutes just checking out all the western pictures throughout the halls and lobby. If you are touring, or just visiting Rawlins, this is a clean comfortable place to stay.

No contact check in is convenient. We were text a code for the room so no need to go to a front desk or even see or talk to anyone. Room was very clean and well stocked with coffee and toiletries and clean towels.
Rooms are always clean. Taylor is always a joy to talk to. She is very helpful. I like that it is only a few minutes from downtown. Great place to stay.
We chose the Elk Mountain Inn as a midway stop between the Grand Tetons and Denver. What a lovely experience. The Inn is beautifully restored. We loved roaming the grounds and checking out the pictures showing the history of the area. The restaurant was simply fabulous. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Susan spent time giving us route recommendations to make the final leg of our journey more enjoyable.
Americainn in Rawlins is my go-to place to stay. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I came in late during a thunderstorm and they went above and beyond to get me settled in safe and sound.

Always stayed at other places in Rawlins, got tired of quality going way down and greedy prices getting hiked up. Decided on giving this one a try and was definitely happily surprised. Glad I made the change!
