The Lake Victoria view from the restaurant deck is so beautiful. The staff is super friendly and nice. I am amazed at how clean the staff keep it. My room was mopped fresh and clean each day. The breakfast was not to my liking. I am not a fan of certain foods which are more popular here. My major complaint was that my bed had an area that was uncomfortable but sleeping at an angle made up for it. Overall, a grand hotel.

New Mwanza Hotel was ideal for my two days stay downtown. It's not overly fancy but rooms are comfortable and clean. Restaurant food was had a good variety with tasty Indian dishes. It was an ideal location in the center of town, but is unfortunately has a dance club on the first floor. I had a room on the second floor by the elevator and the music on Thursday night kept my room vibrating until atleast 5am.
