I don’t think there’s a better place to stay in Pingwe. This place has the most dreamy views you’ll ever experience in Zanzibar. The staff is impeccable! The bed and breakfast was just perfect. Honestly, everything in me wants to gate keep this place! I’d also want to share more but I also don’t want to give away too much to maintain the pleasant element of surprise. Please, trust your gut like I did and book. Best decision I’ve ever made on a hotel.
A beautiful white sandy beach and well maintained hotel is the core of this lush resort. Supported by a very friendly staff and competent management guarantees a great experience. The food is excellent and if you have a chance, try the private dinner setting at the beach with your very own server. Finally the Sultan "s bath and couples massage is the ultimate experience . We had a great stay at the Sands. The staff were amazing, from Mr. Ally the GM to the executive chef and the cooks like Thomas who took care of us. The food was first class - this goes for breakfast right through to dinner. Amazing food and fantastic service. The beach was beautiful, clean and safe. We could not have asked for more. Even the Masai security guards were great! We loved it. Would definitely recommend the Sands in Zanzibar. We'll be back.
This is the place to stay on the island! We had a marvelous time at the Ocean Boutique. Every single staff person has a smile and extraordinary customer service skills. They can arrange any excursions you want. Everything is kept sparkling and clean as they service your room twice a day. The food is outstanding. Chef Ali and his team serve amazing good. If you are a foodie, this is the place you want to stay. You will not be disappointed in a single thing.

The reception is actually on the side called "Paradise Bay Resort," but you have full access to both sides. My wife and I spent eight nights in August and enjoyed our stay at the resort.
