"The property is lovely and peaceful. The hotel is beautifully appointed. The staff is very professional and the food and wine is good. We stayed 5 days, and we cannot wait to visit again."

"My husband and I had a wonderful time and experience at Casa D'Amares! This villa has exceeded our expectations and we definitely would love to come back again. The rooms, were spacious and clean. The AC unit was great! The staff are super friendly, respectful and welcoming. Isabella was so sweet and kind when she gave us the tour around the villa and helped us answer any questions we had. The pool and the view are breath taking! They have a soccer field and ping pong table, the bar/restaurant...

"Stayed here for a wedding. Was pleasantly surprised at the amenities and service. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Only downside was that getting to town required a short drive but uber rides were quick and inexpensive"

"The owners were extremely helpful and do anything they can to please their guests. Small boutique bed and breakfast. The owner makes enough breakfast to feed a small army and it is all so good!"

"Thud is a great hotel with excellent breakfast and great Supper menu. Already advised my brothers to consider a stay there"

"Wonderful stay for us and our friends who all booked other rooms in the same hotel as we were visiting for a wedding. It is a bit further from the center of the city so we had to use a vehicle to get there. We found a nice walk/bike/run trail that starts near the hotel and goes towards nearby parks! The gym was super convenient to use. The breakfast was fantastic. Luggage storage came in handy and was smooth after we checked out so that we could explore nearby before our departure."

"Loved the area, hotel and area. Secluded location within a 2 minute walk to center"

"Great service from Francisco in the restaurant "

"When I booked this hotel, we needed a little bit of serenity after a very busy first five days in Lisbon and Porto. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. It is in the middle of nowhere —driving up these tiny roads you think you’re in a residential area and you come upon this castle-like structure. Everybody is friendly, the staff is super attentive, the infinity pool is located overlooking the vineyard. The food is very good! The rooms are absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend staying...
