"Beautiful new hotel in an old university building next to a lovely park and easy access the Amsterdam's canal zone. Really superb facilities with top quality fit and finish and luxurious amenities. Terrific staff and probably some of the best food we ate in Amsterdam right in the hotel's restaurants. Highly recommend this place."

"Wonderful staff. Great atmosphere good vibe. Convenient location. Will stay again!"

"This hotel is beautiful. It is elegant but warm. The rooms are a lovely size and the back gardens are such a great outdoor relaxation spot. What makes this hotel special though are its people. They were not only kind, looking for opportunities to do more for their clients, but they were knowledgeable. I can not thank them all enough for making our stay so enjoyable."

"The hotel was well maintained, with a superking bed which was very comfortable, a combination of firm and soft pillows, nice cold AC. Located close to metro stations which was convenient. The rooftop terrace was also nice. Overall our stay was very enjoyable."

"Stayed two nights with my boyfriend. The cozy room we had was spacious and clean. Only thing I’m not fan of is the see-through door of the shower in the direction of the bed, no privacy. The bed was a bit hard for my liking, but overall a great and convenient stay for us. Nice place to stay if you need to be close to Ziggo Dome for concerts, would recommend!"

"We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Location was an easy ride to the city center."

"Great lively hotel. Best room I‘ve ever had in Amsterdam. Super helpful and friendly staff. Great shower & comfy bed. Didn’t have a chance to visit the spa but looked cool. Would definitely stay again"

"The rooms are nice, clean and very roomy, beds are great and confortable. The halfways are clean and so is the breakfastroom. More then enough choyces for breakfast. Reception is on 5th floor, very spacious and easy access to the reception, the employees are accurate and deliver a fast check-in. On the same Floor there is a bar, as on groundlevel bar and small restaurant. Van der Valk Zuid As had their own garage. Easy to enter. "Really a Good Place. Nice hotel and service."

"Incredible, helpful concierge, Peter. Beautiful property. Classic. Wonderful pool and hot tub. Helpful staff. Only tiny complaint is absence of USB ports in the rooms, and no financial channels like CNBC or Bloomberg. Overall, a very pleasant stay for us. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Practical and clean, perfect for a few nights in town"

"Amazing hotel! Location is great, very close to the Pijp subway station, close to many restaurants and museums. Rooms are well maintained and the shower is one of the best I have found in hotels lately (very important after a tiring day of tourism or work). Furthermore, the staff is a delight to deal with. Best thing: they provide infinite bottles of great mineral water (sparkling or still) to all guests! It is amazing, truly loved that amazing perk! Thanks for the great service, Sir Albert....
