"Convenient check in. Very clean"

"Very clean and easy to get to"

"Our stay went very smooth, after figuring out the door etc. I struggled with my big suitcase up all the steep stairs, but made it. The showers were clean and convenient og the bed was good!"

"Amazing view, comfortable beds, nice room."

"I was traveling with my two sisters-in-law and this room was by far the most spacious and well-appointed of our whole two week trip. The beds were comfortable, the room was right on street level but was silent at night, the area is gorgeous (even with all the construction happening on the street during our stay). "Friendly staff, clean room and nice breakfast"

"Excellent location and the staff are all a delight! Really made our stay! We’d definitely recommend staying here and will return should we ever come back to Amsterdam!"

"Great stay, close to all, beautiful hotel steeped in history"

"The location was great, just a bit loud on weekends but that was the trade off for being so close to cafes and restaurants. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially Lenny who helped us with transportation and restaurant options several times. It worked well for our group of adults and teens and we would stay here again."

"Great hotel and location"

"Staff were delightful and room was extremely clean. "

"Great hotel. Rooms were recently renovated and spotless, everything worked and the staff were all very nice. "

"Had a 4 night stay at The City Hotel, was not disappointed. Had a superior twin room which was small but comfortable. On suite was good with large shower area and water always hot.Breakfast was more than adequate with a good selection of food. Remember that this is 3 star, don't expect luxurious accomadation. It is very close to the station and a 15 to 20 minute walk to the city centre bars and restaurants..I would certainly use this hotel if I return to Amsterdam. Give the Pollux Cafe a try...

"Cracking stay, would recommend for couples and groups and is really good price and value for money."
