"The staff were absolutely fabulous and the hotel was extremely clean! Very welcoming from the second you park and a lot of nice things to do near the area! Will definitely be back and highly recommend."

"We are able to check in about an hour early, which was great and much appreciated. Upon arrival we noticed property could use some landscaping ( overgrown vegetation etc). Property is close to lake Superior and the River, we walked the trail to the lake River which was ok. Upon entering our room when we open, the door is extremely warm inside and very stuffy. We follow that there was no air-conditioning at all!? in the closet they had a fan in a floor type cooling unit, which provided no cold air and was pretty much just a fan as well. It wasn’t an extremely warm day. It was a little muggy, but the room was horribly warm and did not cool down even overnight we had our windows open, which turn a lot of of us with no privacy being right next to another unit with a balcony and window that could look right into our unit so that was very disappointing not having air conditioner. I’m not sure how you can have an establishment like this without air conditioning, especially in our humid warmer months very confusing. The room itself was large and clean, which was nice. The bed was comfortable, but could use better pillows."

"Amazing - cant wait to come back! Would recommend. The listing was inaccurate though as it did not show loft with 2 twin beds (which there were)...had to call to confirm. My only blah was the check in person seemed a little annoyed to check people in...despite that being his job, stark contrast to others I spoke to at the resort who were super friendly."

"The view was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. There was a smoky odor in the room, either from the fireplaces in the other units or from the firepit outside. The floor plan of the bathroom in the third-floor room was odd. The open door blocked the sink. We had a little trouble figuring out the A/C controls, so the room was a little too warm. We greatly appreciated the free EV charging stations. They were never ICEd while we were there. We underestimated how tiring the 32 stair steps from the car to the room would be. Hiking to the high falls at Tettegouche State Park the day before (108 steps!) probably didn't help."
