It was a great experience. I had 9 hours layover between my flights from Frankfurt Airport. I decided to book a hotel instead of waiting at the airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle that picks you up from the airport and then gives you ride back. On top of that, they are pretty flexible! Most hotels (including Ramada) have check-in time 2-3 pm and check out at noon. However, the day before my arrival I asked for check in around 9 am and check out 7 hours later. Fantastic single business room. Well laid out (so much better than most “modern” rooms. Lighting a bit dim is my only complaint. The bar was open late so had dinner and a glass of wine there. Food good, wine (dry Riesling) great. Bartender (from New Zealand) impeccable. It was a bit of a challenge to find the airport shuttle, but once I did, it was also great. Highly recommend if you end up with an overnight layover at Frankfurt Airport.
