"Just stayed 1 night at the hotel. it is a bit dated but we'll worth the money in a good location with an excellent breakfast and great polite staff. 10 /10"

"Beautiful old building, starting to get dated now though. A little untidy outside (cigarette buts etc). Our room was OK for one night stay for concert at opera house but wouldn't want any more. No running hot water, bed a little uncomfortable and hard pillows. Very dated poor furniture in our room too. However.. didn't pay a lot so value for money ok. Great location for everything in Buxton. Pleasant staff throughout too."

"We had a lovely stay at the Hilton in Stoke-on-Trent. The hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout our visit. The room was spacious, well presented and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere made us feel at home. We particularly appreciated the excellent service and the attention to detail from the staff. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stoke-on-Trent. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Staff were amazing and very helpful. Had the room ready for us at 12.30 because they knew how busy it was going to be they wanted all rooms ready. They even brought a travel cot to the room for us after requesting only 5 minutes earlier. Right in the centre. Very good price for where it was located. Parking also good but gets very busy quickly so would recommend getting there before check in."

"What a lovely surprise this hotel was. Such a change from the tired interiors of many on the booking sites. Clean, warm and very comfortable. Reasonable car park fee, staff extremely helpful and welcoming and breakfast was very good and included in the price. Will definitely return"

"We stayed in a four poster bedroom in late October 26. The hotel is a fascinating place (in a good way). Steeped in history but extremely well maintained. The bedroom was superb, luxurious and super clean with a very comfortable bed. We had both evening meal and breakfast at the hotel. Both were exceptional and decent value too. The staff were all professional, polite and friendly. Only minor gripe is the parking. The hotel parking itself is small and tight. Plus you will need to be there early to get a space. Public options are a 5 min walk away and not cheap. Other than that we were delighted with our stay and would gladly stay again if in the area."
