Fabulous spot with lots of things close by!

Fantastic Boutique Hotel, food was excellent and the staff were all fantastic! Highly recommend this place for relaxing stay.

Every aspect of our stay was intentionally welcoming. From the welcome beverages to the bedside treat, we felt cared for every moment of our stay. The tour of the sanctuary allowed us to have an inside look into the life of Nelson Mandela. Each person at the sanctuary told us more about the beautiful history of his time there. We highly recommend a stay at the sanctuary to all who visit Johannesburg. The meals were exceptional and designed with a global perspective. Each dish has its own story....

Staff advised not to go out walking in the area after dark

The staff is friendly and the property is very nice with good ambiance

Zodwa was accommodating & helpful. Kitchen personnel were friendly. Now that I have had a good experience here, I shall return & refer others.

I travelled with my family to Johannesburg in July 2023. We had a wonderful experience during our stay at the Holiday Inn Johannesburg Sunnyside. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's location was conveniently situated for tour pickups and in a safe area, making it easy for us to explore the city. Moreover, we thoroughly enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant; the food was absolutely delicious. We had the buffet for breakfast...

Unique beautiful dream of a place! Will be back

Nice resort with an amazing staff. Top notch service and friendly staff members. I would highly recommend staying here and will do so when I visit again.

Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood in Johannesburg. Staff was lovely and the roof top bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of touring. Would definitely stay again!

Everyone on the staff we have encountered went above and beyond to help us make our stay most memorable… thank you to all, we can’t wait come back, and enjoy the best service ever. Happy Holidays!

Spent my honeymoon at the Houghton Hotel and from being greeted with a rose and complimentary glass of wine, we knew it would be a pleasant experience. From the front desk staff to the restaurant we were well taken good care of! Our room was beautiful and spacious. Delicious food and most friendly staff, we loved Sisa! Will absolutely come again and recommend!

A lovely guest house that is within walking distance to delicious restaurants, 27 boxes for shopping and a great area to have coffee or tea. The staff is friendly and accommodating and so helpful in booking tours. I would stay her again in a second. (Stayed November 2016)

Nice clean close to the mall and restaurant.

The staff -- especially the managers -- really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. Everything I asked about, they delivered or fixed without hesitation, and they were constantly checking to make sure I was satisfied.

Easy check in, clean hotel, nice staff

I absolutely love this hotel. It is lovely and charming. The staff is really nice and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic.
