"We stayed while walking the Camino. The hotel is very close to Combarro. Manuel was our host. The hotel was beautiful in a way that was thoughtful with every bit of attention to detail. The pool wasn't open yet as we traveled in May, but it looked lovely. We speak no Spanish and Manuel, no English. That didn't matter. "What a gem of a hotel! Excellent location, right on the beach. Lovely sea views from the room. Excellent breakfast, although coffee machine not great, yet there is a decent barista coffee machine in the bar. It was low season when we were there in mid-May, so only a few guests. Loads of sun loungers by the pool and the hotel does not tolerate the classic German habit of “bagging” sun loungers.
