"Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre court séjour au Clos du Jas, nous aimons tous les deux trouver des petits lieux charmants comme celui-ci et n'avons pas été déçus.
Toutes les instructions et informations dont nous avons besoin lors de notre arrivée sont très bien expliquées et permettent d'arriver même tard dans la nuit, ce qui était appréciable.
Merci à Nicole pour son accueil très charmant et son très bon petit-déjeuner :)"
"We had an amazing stay here and would love to come back. Hotel is next to Bar La Relève which is a trendy cafe/restaurant perfectly located in Marseille. Rooms are very clean and super nice decorated - really enjoyed it! "
"Excellent hotel to stay at for a few days. The food / snacking was excellent, the pool and sauna were delightful and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel as it is well located, and the staff is fantastic."
"We had an amazing stay as a small group. The staff were attentive, the breakfast was delicious and it was so conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again"
"Property is close to many restaurants and attractions. Breakfast at the hotel was very good in addition to being convenient. Nice balcony overlooking the old port and Notre Dame Cathedral is an added bonus."
"The apartments are in a great location, clean, modern and very comfortable. A great base to explore Marseille port. Friendly staff I would highly recommend! Thankyou"
"Les Bords du Mer exceeded every expectation. The staff are exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment you arrive. The property is boutique with stunning views. The food and drinks are excellent. Highly recommend."
"The bathroom is very small. It requires planning for a larger person, especially an older person, to enter and exit the shower cubicle.
In the shower there is a pump of combined body/hair wash. I always take my own shampoo and conditioner as my hair goes to straw if I use the liquid from the pump."

As an interior designer, I really appreciated the attention to detail and overall feel of the Blue room. We loved the bathroom most of all, as well as the beautiful windows that let in so much light. Only negative is that the floor in the shower can get extremely slippery, definitely be careful.
Could use more tables in the garden, as it was a wonderful place to have breakfast or relax. It was hot outside while we were there, and the central AC was wonderful. Perfect temperature in the room. We really enjoyed Grand Just!
I really enjoyed my stay, from check in to departure everything was great. views, restaurants, drinks, the spa :) cleanliness, and the decor was so great... when I return to Marseilles I will surly be staying at this property again.
Outstanding, smaller hotel in a wonderful (albeit touristic) area. The staff was exceptionally friendly, kind, patient and helpful. The area has literally dozens, maybe more, decent restaurants (many Tunisien places) and great museums and attractions within easy walking distance. Marseille is certainly wrongly maligned as a place to avoid - that is really old news, if it ever was true.
The hotel restaurant is a great place to have breakfast, and I recommend spending a little extra to book a...
The Alex Hotel & Spa was booked due to it's close proximity to the train station. The staff upon check-in were helpful & friendly and our room was clean and renovated - it was one of our favorite stays in France! Also, the balcony was a plus and was a great way to relax and unwind after a day of travel while still enjoying the city.
First of all, the location is just great. Right around the corner from the Musee Granet, only about 4 short blocks over from the Cours Mirabeau and oldest part of the city, less than 10 minutes (on foot) to the Fontaine de la Rotonde, and not far from the Hotel de Caumont museum. The street is very quiet, and has no cars - except taxis that can lower the access control posts. Just a block from the Rue d'Italie, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
The hotel has no sign outside other than...
The hotel was perfect! We wanted a clean room in a safe area and we got both! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location is perfect and walking distance to a ton of restaurants.
Great, fun staff. Good location . Lovely garden. Good breakfast. Lovely room .
We are 68 yr old Mainers who would rather this kind of experience than a typical, less intimate one.
L'air conditionné fonctionnait très bien.
La situation de l'hôtel est idéale par rapport à la ville et les transports en commun.
La chambre côté rue était parfois bruyante le soir, la nuit.
The room was small but cozy. It lacked a view, but the window provided good airflow. It fit my solo traveling needs perfectly. Good central location, clean, comfortable, friendly staff who spoke English, and good wifi. A bit noisy at night, but in fairness I left the window open.
nice, easy stay. very close to train station (less than 5 mn) and about 15 min walk to Old Port. really nice room. very clean and modern. lots of storage spots. only downside is the room walls are very thin. i could hear all my neighbors talking, coughing, laughing, etc. both nights i woke up to people entering their rooms and chatting. one time at 2am (and im a pretty deep sleeper but i had to put earplugs in) other than that, the stay was really great. great staff, very friendly too.
Included with your room is access to the pool and other relaxation facilities. Great way to unwind after a long travel day. Easy access to Old Town and dining.
The A/C had been turned off for the season and the room was very hot. The noise from outside made it impossible to open the door for cool air. Had difficulty getting comfortable to sleep. We finally took out the comforter and used just the duvet.
