Bali with its congestion and litter isn't really all a paradise. The moment you walk into the Trans hotel that changes. This hotel really seems to "get" the customer service/satisfaction piece. Every (and I mean every) person that we encountered over our stay was gracious, helpful and genuinely happy. If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place. The resort is family friendly with all kinds of activities for the kids. Plus, centrally located to good bars / restaurants I think my only real issue was the size / quality of the room for the price point. I've stayed in way larger / nicer rooms for $200 a night. Would recommend garden room at minimum. Extra price not much and worth the minimal price difference. Let’s you have a much nicer experience when in the room itself or taking advantage of the spacious terrace or exposed shower. Otherwise you are facing other buildings or parking lots.

Absolutely beautiful experience! I will return over and over. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous and so decadent with cooked to order omelette and French toast and pastries galore. And the staff is the kindest I’ve ever encountered. Don’t miss out on this amazing property!

I stand firmly behind my five stars - this hotel definitely earned them on service alone. The staff memorize your name - not just a few, lots of them remember who you are! Our stay was beyond amazing I celebrated my birthday at Ayung Resort the resort is a gem hidden 15 mins of central UBUD peaceful beautiful resort the resort is 5star hospitality we where only going to stay for 4nights and ended up for 8 nights!
