I was a little worried during the taxi ride to the hotel that I had made a terrible mistake in picking the hotel as some of the areas look a little rough (by American standards), however, once at the gated hotel I realized that I indeed had made a good choice when choosing the location as the property is incredibly calming and beautiful. Just know that since you are out of the city you will need to use Uber eat or a taxi to get food as there is no onsite restaurant.
This property was absolutely wonderful from the amenities to the very nice staff to the beautiful location. Keep in mind that the hotel is about 20 to 30 minutes from the city area and taxis can get expensive however this hotel is worth it. Activities multiple restaurants, great spa tennis golf course and a historical tour available..
Great experience ! Dave ,Marsha, Elezar and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable ,and everything was taken care of. They arranged a tour,massage, taxi service, meal delivery, and were always there with any questions I had.

Wonderful little family run hotel, friendly, such nice people! Free airport shuttle, wonderful free breakfast, delicious coffee. Very safe and secure for single elderly women traveler. Pool is clean, refreshing..so relaxing. Best part is the beautiful gardens, tropical plants and all the birds singing in the trees..will surely come back here.

My husband and I went to visit friends and family in Costa Rica. The hotel is conveniently located in the main capital where there are great restaurants and shopping areas. My husband loves to stay at this location too because is quiet and safe.

When I say five stars I don't mean it is the best hotel in the country, I mean it does what it does really well in its price range. This is a comfortable and relaxing place. It is geared towards men who like to rest and watch a lot of sports. It is very clean and the hotel staff is very nice. They were very accommodating. The bartenders are friendly. The food is decent for Costa Rican standards. Sorry but Costa Rica isn't a food paradise. Not bad but nothing you will photograph and remember....
We loved everything about this hotel and we are so happy we chose to stay here. The hotel was very clean; we would come in and our room would smell and look amazing. The food options at the restaurant were excellent (we tried all the local dishes and local juices/milkshakes). We felt that the location was perfect- we liked the fact that the airport shuttle was easily accessible; we felt safe walking around the area; and the best part was having a Walmart so close (walking distance) for snacks...

Convenient location near the airport, really helpful and friendly customer service they went above and beyond to get us transportation to the next city that we were heading to. We came back the last day and they storage our suitcases while we went around town because our flight was at midnight and they allow us to use the installations to take a shower and provide us with towels for a small fee. The property is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous tropical plants everywhere you look. One of our favorite spots was the peaceful meditation lounge overlooking the koi fish and the magnificent mango tree—it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after traveling.

Great place to spend a night before our flight home. The host met us at the door when we arrived and was up at 4:30am to see us off. My wife and I walked to several nice restaurants just 8 minutes away. Very close to the airport, very clean and great value! Had A/C and a refrigerator to keep some food cold. Safe, gated parking but definitely not a lot of room. We had a mid sized SUV which fit fine, but anything bigger would be a tight fit. Would definitely stay here again.
