"Beautiful property with a wonderful history."

"They had a full-service fine dining restaurant but we didn't eat their breakfast. They had fresh coffee in the lobby. The lobby coffee was very convenient but if you wanted anything else or decaf...that's what the on-site restaurant was for. "

"The room was nice and the bed was comfy. The only complaint I have is the temperature of the room. I'm menopausal and was unable to sleep due to being unable to lower the temperature in the room."

"We really enjoyed our stay, the room was big and held our family of five beautifully. I wish they were two queen beds instead of two double beds, but it worked. The pools were fun and the food was good."

"The grounds and ambieance were excellent beyond expectatyions and the staf were extremely friendly. But, there was no hot water. And when we reported that, the answer was that they had been having probelms with hot water in the hiostoric rooms -- ours was a historic room, namely room 19.; They did absolutely nothing to resolve the problem and we ended up having to take ice cold showers. If they knew that there had been problems, why did they place us in that room? I also noticed that our room had access to an outdoor pagtio -- but there were no lounges to stretch out on -- just uncon fortable chair and a table."

"This hotel is older and needs to be renovated and modernized. We stayed for 3 nights and adjusted to the limitations and then began to enjoy ourselves. The bed was very comfortable. We had enough seating to accommodate my brother’s visits. I was glad I had brought plugs for chargers as I could use the sockets since there were no ports for chargers. Breakfast was acceptable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I think the charges were too high for what was there."
