When you exit the hotel on floor 5, it's just a few flights of stairs up to the main square in Ragusa with all its sights, shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating at check in and departure. The breakfast was great. The only difficulty we encountered was not the hotel's doing but worth mentioning. We had an amazing time in Ragusa at La Casa del gesumina. The b and b was close to the center, walking distance to many sites and restaurants and also to the bus stops for the beach and Ragusa Superiore. We spent two nights at modica palace hotel. It is a wonderful place with courteous and pleasant staff. Superb cleanliness all around and a wonderful breakfast awaited us. Hotel is close to some shops, pizzeria and coffee shop. One has to take pool towels with him since they are not supplied. Few umbrellas would also be great around the pool since we experienced scorching sun and high temperatures at the time. The pool and area was meticulously clean.

We had a delightful one-night stay at Villa Boscarino. The hotel is created within a classic old villa with lovely modern features. Gardens and pool tranquil. It's atop a hill in the modern area of Ragusa, but a short cab ride over to the historical Ragusa area for dinner. Parking was available for our rental car. Staff was so helpful, caring and genuinely kind. Loved Stephanie at the poolside.
