"We were very charmed by Highland Dell Inn, which is run by a German family many years. It is set right in the redwoods right on the river and has a little dock to swim from. The room was very clean and bright with a nice balcony and a beautiful view of the river. The Inn is just a few minutes away from Guerneville, which has some nice restaurants. We also chose to eat at the Inn two nights which was very pleasant out on the big deck overlooking the river. Continental breakfast was European style with different breads, meat, cheese, boiled eggs, sweets, yogurt, and granola. This would be a great place to hold a family reunion or a small wedding. We will certainly be back with family and friends."
