The family and the animals are friendly and care for you well. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin so when someone sneezes in the next room it will wake you up. I was happy that most of the time I stayed here alone. There is a fantastic view of the hillside village Altavilla Silentina. I was glad to spend the two weeks driving around to learn more about the area as I was thinking about buying a home here, but the level of local poverty means it would be difficult to get services here. If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour.
