Inexpensive, clean and quiet. Only quibble was I couldn't tell the mini-fridge was turned all the way up, so a few cans of soda and some veggies froze, but overall for a "budget motel" experience it was surprisingly good.

I never stay in motels but I was very impressed with the Rock Ledge. The owner takes very good care of the property that dates back to the 1950’s. We got a very clean, quiet room for a good night’s sleep. It’s a Thousand Islands classic.
Otter Creek Inn was just like the kind of motel I used to stay at when I traveled with my parents as a kid. It was comfortable and clean. It seemed to be very family friendly and quiet enough to get a good night's sleep! I had no idea when I booked it, but it was easily within walking distance of all the attractions I wanted to see in the 'tourist' center of Alexandria Bay. I was genuinely excited with the location! Visited my son at Fort Drum. Not too far from Post, amenities and Interstate. Nice quaint place that fit the bill for the need. A real Mom-n-Pop type of place that you can't seem to find anymore. I stay at lots of chain hotels that seem very cookie-cutter, this ain't that. Quite charming.
Great place. Our room was nice. The whirlpool was a bit old but overall worth the price because the place was very conveniently located and had multiple places to eat and get cocktails on site. Great staff as well. I really liked this place and would definitely stay again. Live music too. It's a few minutes walk to everything.
