Hotels in North Fair Oaks

"All my traveler needs were well met at the Marina Inn. That is why I stop there every year when I am flying through Oakland. The property is older but bathrooms have been updated and the place is well maintained. My room was clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The shuttle from and to the Oakland Airport works well Breakfast options are mostly starch. Could use more protein. But that is a small issue to me."

"If you are looking for a convenient location near San Francisco airport and decent food on property you found the right location. The rooms could use some updates, bathroom work and some paint, TV didn't work properly, it kept losing signal or just freezing, but in a big picture okay stay but near SFO."

"This property is very close to the freeway off ramp, did not hear it much from my room VERY close to on ramp, no microwave in room, one is available near from to desk outside of building. The wi-fi was spotty for part of my stay. Dining options are really two choices, IHOP next door, and a Chick Fil-A across a busy eight lane thoroughfare. I guess you could call an all nite gas station a dining option with food to go. This property was too far from downtown, even with occasional bus service. Must have a car. "

"The hotel is outdated and lacks basic modern comforts. Despite being an "SFO hotel," there is no airport shuttle service. Taxis and rideshares to the terminal cost between $15–$45 due to heavy airport surcharges, making the location far less convenient than it appears. To make matters worse, they charge €14 ($15) per night for parking, and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, leading to a very poor night's sleep. Between the hidden transport costs and the lack of comfort, I cannot recommend staying here. Pros: None. Cons: No shuttle, expensive transport, paid parking, uncomfortable beds."
